The fine print

Privacy

• We keep what we need to send your alerts: your name and email from Google, the alerts you set up, and whether you pay. Stripe handles payments; we never see your card.
• We count visits without cookies and never store your IP address. The only cookie keeps you signed in.
• We don't sell your data or show ads. Google (sign-in and email), Stripe (payments), Hetzner (servers), Sentry (error reports) and Telegram (our team's alert notifications) handle it only to run the service.

• Want your account deleted? Email [email protected] and we'll delete it.

Terms

• We watch Recreation.gov and email you when permits open up. We don't sell or reserve permits; you book them on Recreation.gov.
• We're fast, but we can't promise you a permit: alerts can be late, missed or wrong. BWCA Permit Alerts isn't affiliated with Recreation.gov or the Forest Service.
• Cancel anytime from your profile. If it didn't work for you, email us and we'll refund you.
• Please don't scrape, resell or abuse the service.
